- Networking Concepts & Certification |
| This
course is an introduction to networking fundamentals,
including topology, network protocols, and the
OSI model. This course serves the needs for professionals
who are interested in mastering broad, vendor
independent networking concepts. In particular,
it will help those seeking to pass the Computing
Technology Industry Association's Network+ Certification.
The course utilizes extensive lectures, visual
aides and hands-on labs to aid the students in
mastering the material. An 800 page textbook and
CD is included in the cost of the tuition. |

Network+ Course covers all the required material
to obtain certification through CompTIA. The
course covers all aspects of networking, including
theory, LAN/WAN topologies, protocol configuration
and trouble-shooting plus cabling. |

Certification courses or 6 months work experience
in a data processing related environment where
networks are utilized. The ability to comprehend
logical models and basic electrical signaling
as related to networks is helpful. |
